Although fielded earlier, a change in regulations for 1994 led to the ZXR750R replacing the ZXR-7 works machine. In its first year of works duty, it won the 1994 World Endurance Championship, a feat it repeated in 1996, proving again the speed and toughness of Kawasaki’s Lime Green racers.
