• ZXR750R (1992-)

Aboard a production-based ZXR750R, Scott Russell gave Kawasaki their debut Superbike victory in the ’92 Daytona 200, establishing a new average speed record of 178 km/h in the process, and went on to win the AMA Superbike Championship that year. Team reorganisation saw Russell competing in World Superbike in ’93 on a revised ZXR750R. The Rob Muzzy-tuned engine produced a maximum power of 150 bhp at 13,800 rpm, propelling Russell and Kawasaki to their first Superbike World Championship.
